COMPRESSORS

Compressors with WPS technology had to be tested

for 500 hrs. in intervals and as well as fatigue testing. This

means 21 days around the clock to prove if it deserves

our name. Each condenser had to manage more than

85 million condensations!

Verdict for this Marathon test series: There was no dama-

ge to the condenser or motor in any model! PLS is clearly

the condenser technology of the future.

Compressors with the maintenance-free Permanent

Lubrication System (PLS) use piston rings made of the

high-tech space material PTFE (teflon). This means that

there is no more lubrication of the compressor’s con-

denser with environmentally harmful and expensive oil.

These piston rings take on the task of the conventional

steel piston rings. There is therefore no more conventio-

nal lubrication with mineral oil that leads to reduction of

the service life.
